Surgery of the nose is called Rhinoplasty. Dr.Krueger maintains a special interest in nasal surgery and has performed well over 1,000 nasal procedures. Dr. Krueger performs primary cosmetic Rhinoplasty. His unique background and board certification in otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery) contribute to his philosophy that form and function of the nose are inter-related. He pays special attention to both the cosmetic and functional aspects of nose reshaping, so that patients will have a nose that looks good and works properly. With this procedure, the nose is reshaped by removing excess cartilage or bone.
I have performed over 12,000 sinus and nasal procedures. Many of these have been combined functional and cosmetic cases.
Dr. Krueger recently welcomed a patient from Florida into his office to help her after an automobile airbag incident.
Nose surgery is useful for:
- Correcting asymmetric nose shapes
- Removing bumps on the nose
- Reducing the size of a large nose or changing an undesirable shape
During consultation, a thorough evaluation of the nose is performed, often with nasal endoscopy and computerized video imaging. This is often a combination procedure with the functional component being covered by insurance.
